That’s why I love eating yogurt smoothies in the morning! They are quick (especially if you prepare a few in plastic bags and throw them in the freezer ahead of time) and easy!
I love a peach and cranberry smoothie.
Add one peeled peach with 10 cranberries to half a cup of vanilla yogurt to a blender with one fourth a cup of milk and you have a delicious, nutritious treat!
Don’t forget to add a scoop of plain protein powder to get that extra boost of nutrition!
Drink More Anti-Inflammatory Tea
Turmeric is a wonder spice that actually has anti-inflammatory properties.
Curcumin, the substance in turmeric that has anti-inflammatory properties, is essential for relaxing tired muscles. Adding ginger boosts the health benefits!
Add ½ a teaspoon of ground ginger to ½ teaspoon of turmeric to 2 cups water and bring to a boil on the stovetop. Add honey to taste and strain.
